Validating The E-commerce Approach In Morocco

Goal: To accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development with a focus on sectors with high growth potential, including e-commerce.

Activities: The project covered:

  • validating the e-commerce strategy approach as a key pillar of PCP Morocco, including e-commerce legislation, B2B online marketplaces and digital skills development

  • speaking at Morocco’s First Global Industry 4.0 Conference, which gathered over 700 participants from the public and private sector to foster partnerships for the development of Industry 4.0 in Africa

  • producing guides for the digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises developed to support economic response and recovery efforts related to COVID-19, as part of the PCP’s E-commerce component.

Results: An e-commerce strategy approach, with gap analysis and an action plan, as an input to the national e-commerce strategy in Morocco.
